TRILUMIS
MAINTENANCE, SPARE PARTS & SUPPORT

A contact for your lighting, long after installation.

We help you maintain your TRILUMIS lighting, identify suitable replacement parts and resolve technical questions. The starting point is always the actual luminaire and its specific version.

RETAIN. CHECK. REPLACE WHERE NEEDED.

A practical next step for your installation.

Not every fault requires a new luminaire. We help establish which components are affected and whether maintenance, a suitable replacement part or an upgrade could be appropriate.

01

Plan maintenance

Dirt, surroundings and operating hours affect maintenance needs. Cleaning, visual checks and functional checks should follow the product documentation and be agreed with the operator and contractor for the site.

02

Identify spare parts

Light source, driver, diffuser or accessory: article numbers, dimensions and electrical data help identify the part. We check availability and suitability for the specific version.

03

Discuss technical issues

An individual failure, changed light output or unusual dimming behaviour? A clear description helps narrow down the next checks with the responsible electrical contractor.

REPLACEABLE COMPONENTS

Keep using what can be retained.

In luminaires designed for it, light sources or control gear can be replaced separately. Our solutions with replaceable GH36d and GR6d light sources follow this approach. The actual luminaire and its documentation determine whether replacement is possible.

  • A matching socket or identical dimensions alone are not enough. Power, electrical characteristics, optical performance and the approved combination must also be suitable.
  • For a driver, output characteristics, interface and dimensions are among the factors to consider. Wattage alone does not determine a suitable replacement.
  • If a direct replacement is not suitable, we can discuss a project-specific upgrade or an appropriate new luminaire.
UNDERSTAND THE STARTING POINT

The right information makes service more effective.

One luminaire is affected

Record its position and article number. Describe when the fault occurs and whether it is continuous or intermittent.

A group behaves differently

Identify the luminaires affected together and any changes to user controls, sensors or the control system.

The site needs to keep operating

List quantities, project phases and access requirements. This helps coordinate parts checks and work with everyday operations.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

From your enquiry to an agreed solution.

  1. Identify the installation

Match the product name, article number and any available order documentation.

  2. Review the issue

Discuss the fault and operating conditions, then identify any missing information.

  3. Agree the solution

Clarify suitability, availability and the scope of any replacement or service work for the project.

  4. Document the work

Coordinate with the electrical contractor and record changed components in the installation documentation.

YOUR SERVICE ENQUIRY

Details that help us assist you.

Have your documents ready for our conversation. Photos and other files can be shared in the subsequent exchange.

  • Article number and product name; if needed, a photo of an accessible nameplate
  • Quantity, location and approximate installation date
  • Fault description: when it began, continuous or intermittent, one luminaire or a group
  • Existing controls, relevant changes and the electrical contractor’s contact details

Questions about maintenance and spare parts

Can I replace a light source myself?

Follow the installation and maintenance instructions for the specific luminaire. Some light sources are designed for straightforward replacement; other components require a qualified contractor. Do not open a luminaire just to identify it. Work on the electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Is there a fixed maintenance interval?

One interval does not suit every installation. Usage, dirt, accessibility and product requirements determine the need. Maintenance planning should therefore reflect the conditions on site.

Are parts available for every older luminaire?

This can only be checked for the specific version. We clarify availability and possible alternatives. Please provide the article number and, if available, order or delivery details.
